Through regular one-to-one support, the project gives children with disabilities the opportunity to participate in social and leisure activities within their communities and to learn new skills. By looking after children who need 24-hour care, the project also enables parents to spend time together or with their other children, supporting the family unit as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Wornham, Action for Children Partnership Area Fundraiser for Wales, welcomed the donation: \u201cAction for Children supports and speaks out for the UK\u2019s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people \u2013 with the continued support of such generous and committed supporters as Quartix, we hope to do so for as long as we are needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andy Kirk, Sales &amp; Marketing Director at Quartix, added: \u201cIt is important to us as a business to help the local community.
