How long does Quartix keep your data?\u00a0 Now it\u2019s up to you!<\/h2>\n

The Data Retention Period can now be adjusted through our tracking app.\u00a0 Go to \u2018Configuration\u2019 menu, select \u2018Company\u2019; you can select the length of time you want Quartix to store your data and update your settings.\u00a0 The system is defaulted to store data for 7 years, but you can choose any combination of months and years up to seven years, i.e.:\u00a0 2 years, 5 months.<\/p>\n

When the Data Retention Period is changed, an email will be sent to inform you and to prevent any unauthorised modifications. Any Data Retention Period changes will take place one week after they are configured, allowing you time to process the notification email and correct any accidental changes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to note that the Data Retention Period refers to the amount of time that Quartix archives your data.\u00a0 How long the data is available to you on the tracking application has not been affected\u2014it is still 12 months.<\/p>\n

Adhering to data protection laws is of the utmost importance to us.\u00a0 Our goal is to provide you with accurate and easily-accessible information, however we believe it should be your choice how long we hold it for you.\u00a0 The new Data Retention Period feature gives you greater flexibility and more control over your data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
