You&#8217;ll be responsible for a variety of finance administration tasks, helping to ensure customer accounts, supplier records, and financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working closely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, you&#8217;ll be part of a supportive team where accuracy, organisation, and excellent customer service are essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-key-responsibilities\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-sales-ledger-amp-credit-control\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sales Ledger &amp; Credit Control<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and process sales invoices and credit notes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain customer sales contracts for new and existing accounts, including contract renewals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process credit card payments, direct debit forms, and direct debit notifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete daily bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send customer statements and respond to account queries via email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact customers by telephone to manage overdue accounts and support credit control activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-purchase-ledger\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purchase Ledger<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check and process supplier invoices using Microsoft Dynamics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send invoices through the approval process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approve engineer invoices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconcile supplier and installer statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Request and process purchase credit notes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and issue remittance advice notices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate supplier and installer account information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-general-duties\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Duties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage a high volume of calls and emails professionally and efficiently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the wider finance team with additional administrative and finance tasks as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-we-re-looking-for\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we&#8217;re looking for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys working with numbers and processes. You&#8217;ll have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage your workload effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;ll ideally have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organisational and time management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a busy team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role is desirable, but not essential, as full training
