Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a varied role providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business, while supporting the delivery of a proactive, compliant and high-quality HR service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;ll build strong relationships with managers, providing advice on employee relations, performance, absence and people management. You&#8217;ll also support recruitment and onboarding, HR operations, compliance and HR projects, while working closely with the HR Administrator to ensure HR processes, systems and documentation are accurate, efficient and effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-key-responsibilities\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring the consistent application of HR policies and employment legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support managers through disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and flexible working processes, escalating complex or high-risk matters where appropriate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build trusted relationships with managers and coach them on effective people management, helping to develop their confidence and capability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure HR processes, documentation and HRIS records are accurate, complete and compliant with company policies, GDPR and employment legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support payroll processes by providing accurate information for starters, leavers and contractual changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor HR metrics and produce reports and insights to support effective business decision making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes, working closely with managers and the HR Administrator to deliver a positive employee experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to support the development of the HR Administrator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as an approachable and professional point of contact for HR queries, maintaining confidentiality and championing Quartix&#8217;s Values at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-what-we-re-looking-for\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Previous experience in an HR Advisor or equivalent HR role, with experience supporting or managing employee relations matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of UK employment legislation, HR best practice and GDPR requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience advising and coaching managers on HR policies, procedures and people management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High attention to detail and accuracy, with confidence using HR systems and interpreting HR data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards the qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience supporting organisational change or HR projects would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-personal-attributes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Personal Attributes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professional, approachable and trustworthy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confident and resilient when dealing with sensitive situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative and supportive, with a genuine interest in developing others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactive with a positive, continuous improvement mindset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committed to continuous professional development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Committed to delivering a high standard of service and upholding Quartix&#8217;s Values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t meet every requirement?
