Channel Development Managers – German

We are looking for Channel Development Managers to support our German market. UK-based roles with occasional travel to Germany required.

The Channel Development Manager is responsible for expanding a company’s reach and revenue by building, managing, and optimising relationships with channel partners. This role is pivotal in driving indirect sales, developing partner ecosystems, and ensuring that partners are equipped and motivated to represent the company’s tracking solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

Partner Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit high-potential channel partners.
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions to prospective partners.
  • Lead onboarding processes, ensuring new partners are set up for success with necessary training and resources.

Enablement & Training

  • Deliver training sessions and create educational materials to help partners understand products, sales strategies, and market positioning.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates as new products or features are launched.
  • Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for channel partners, addressing their needs and resolving conflicts.
  • Foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships through regular communication, joint business planning, and performance reviews.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement channel strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate go-to-market initiatives, promotions etc.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track partner activity, sales metrics, and market trends to assess performance.
  • Set performance targets, analyse results, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Sales Support & Enablement

  • Support partners with sales resources, product demos, and technical expertise.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and partner meetings to promote offerings and strengthen relationships

Skills and Experience

  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • 3+ years in working in channel development, partner management, business development, or B2B sales.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong CRM proficiency.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely.
  • Ability to communicate complex product offerings clearly to non-technical audiences.
