Leading vehicle tracking supplier Quartix has made a £510 charitable donation in support of Action for Children.
The funds will go towards the Powys Community Support Services project, which provides home-based support for children and young people with disabilities and is of invaluable help to local families. Through regular one-to-one support, the project gives children with disabilities the opportunity to participate in social and leisure activities within their communities and to learn new skills. By looking after children who need 24-hour care, the project also enables parents to spend time together or with their other children, supporting the family unit as a whole.
Stephen Wornham, Action for Children Partnership Area Fundraiser for Wales, welcomed the donation: “Action for Children supports and speaks out for the UK’s most vulnerable and neglected children and young people – with the continued support of such generous and committed supporters as Quartix, we hope to do so for as long as we are needed.”
Andy Kirk, Sales & Marketing Director at Quartix, added: “It is important to us as a business to help the local community. The Powys Community Support Services do a great job and we are delighted to be able to help them continue their excellent work.”
