Quartix vehicle tracking recovers stolen Vauxhall Vivaro in minutes

With the help of the Quartix vehicle tracking system, police have recovered a stolen Vauxhall Vivaro in less than one hour. On the 9th July 2015, Ms Lynn Davis, Fleet Manager of Historic Property Restoration, received a report from one of her employees, informing her that one of their vans had been stolen.

Ms Davis called immediately, Ms Carla Owen, Senior Sales Executive at Quartix, and explained the situation. Carla was able to use the tracking reference of the vehicle to find where the vehicle was, and quickly informed Historic Property Restoration of the exact position of their vehicle – which was not running at the time.

Ms Davis rang the police who quickly located the vehicle which was found in perfect working order. Soon after that, Carla called back Ms Davis to be sure everything was in order.

“In the space of 5 minutes our van was stolen, but with the help of the Quartix tracking system, we were able to retrieve it. This has saved us a lot of money which companies can’t afford to lose now” says Ms Davis.
