Quartix does the hard work of analysing your data and generating simple reports. Everything can be accessed on the web. The Quartix tracking system includes a wide range of vehicle tracking reports and dashboards to improve vehicle operations and utilisation.
Choose how to view your fleet’s activities in real-time. Each element of the report can be tailored to specific needs. For some components, a utilisation target can be set, with the option to show an alert if that target has not been met by a certain time.
Quartix Dashboards provide up to date fleet information, are completely customisable and contain a number of enhanced features:
- Individual dashboards and components can be customised for each user
- Customised dashboards can be shared between groups of users
- Dashboard components provide visual alerts when a specific alert condition is met
- Each dashboard component provides drilldown capability to view details
- Filters can be applied to individual components for individual vehicles, groups, and/or reporting period
Check time on site
Its easy to check how long your staff were on site so you can evaluate the cost of each job.
With the Quartix time-on-site reports, you can pick a location and compile a report with each of your vehicles that have visited that site in the chosen period, showing the time spent there. Vehicle management
Never miss the important deadlines for vehicle services, inspections and insurance renewals. The Quartix vehicle tracking system enables you to record all important milestones and reminders.
You simply enter the vehicle odometer reading and key milestones for all your vehicles. The Quartix vehicle tracking system then accumulates the mileage from that date and will highlight when the vehicle needs servicing. The full fleet report can be viewed online so you can easily see which vehicles are due for a service or MOT.
Quartix MOT reports include engine hours data, offering greater insight into precisely how long a Quartix-tracked vehicle or asset has been running over a given date range. Knowing exactly how long your vehicles and machinery have been in use can be vital information in ensuring maintenance schedules and health & safety regulations are met.
Vehicle utilisation analysis
You might have a policy in place for when you want to replace your old vehicles, or maybe you’re thinking about adding more vehicles to your fleet. The Quartix vehicle utilisation report is a powerful tool to generate a more accurate analysis and forecast of your fleet usage. This can identify vehicles that are under-utilised, not in use or where space capacity can delay the need for additional vehicles. The report shows:
- Miles travelled per time period
- Travel time
- Idling time and Idling %
- Max speed
Monthly mileage report
If you need to run a total monthly mileage report for all your fleet, or a group of vehicles, the data can be exported to Excel or emailed on a weekly basis. Reports can include or exclude private mileage per day, week or month, depending on whether you want to report on taxable benefits or overall vehicle utilisation.
Monthly speed reports
Health and safety are of paramount importance in the management of a mobile workforce.
The monthly speed report complements the driving style tools by summarising all speeding incidents for individual groups or the fleet as a whole, covering a whole month. It works in the following way:
- Select the group of vehicles, month and minimum speed threshold – for example 70 mph
- See the speed, date and time of each incidence, together with the time spent above the speed threshold (see example on the left).
- Links to daily route maps for the location of the incident

Route analysis
Route analysis this key management tool is of particular value to fleets operating from multiple depots, or with groups of vehicles covering different areas. The Weekly Route Chart provides an overview of mobile workforce activity in any selected week, displayed clearly on a colour plot online. This enables you to identify route inefficiencies and overlaps.

Absolutely. Quartix’s fleet management tools include vehicle maintenance tracking . You can input each vehicle’s last service date, MOT due date, insurance renewal, and current odometer reading. The system will then automatically alert you when a service is coming due or an MOT is near expiry, based on mileage or dates. Quartix provides a Vehicle Utilisation report that highlights how much each vehicle is being used . It shows metrics like total miles driven, travel time, and idling time for your selected period. Yes, there are speed analysis tools included. Quartix’s monthly speed report compiles all speeding incidents for your fleet (or groups of vehicles) in a given month . It shows each incident’s date, location and the speed recorded above your chosen threshold. This complements the driver behaviour scores by identifying patterns of speeding. Additionally, you can review driving style trends over time – for instance, tracking if a driver’s score improves month by month – which is useful for driver training and incentive programs.
Yes. Quartix dashboards are fully customisable . You can choose which data components (widgets) appear on your dashboard – for example, a chart for fleet utilisation, a table of driver scores, or a map of vehicle locations. Each user at your company can have a personalised dashboard view, and those custom dashboards can also be shared among teams. You can set utilisation targets or other thresholds, and the system will highlight or alert you when those conditions are met or not met (for instance, if a vehicle hasn’t met a daily usage target by a certain time, it could flag an alert on the dashboard).
