Appointment of CEO and Trading Update
Quartix Technologies plc is pleased to confirm that, as announced on July 21, Richard Lilwall has commenced his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, as successor to Andy Walters, who has retired as Chief Executive Officer following 20 years in the role.
Quartix makes record number of new vehicle installations
Quartix is pleased to report a 17% increase in fleet subscription base over the past 12 months, now surpassing 180,000 vehicles. Despite the challenges of the first half of 2021, new fleet installations were 31% ahead of the same period last year and, more significantly, 13% ahead of pre-pandemic record (2019) levels.
Quartix Vehicle Tracking Announces New CEO
Richard Lilwall will succeed Andy Walters as CEO of Quartix. Andy Walters will retire following 20 years' service to the Company as co-founder, Managing Director and CEO but will remain a Non-Executive Director. Mr Lilwall will join the Company as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its plc Board in early October.
Success of ITT Hub’s 2021 debut event
ITT Hub 2021 made its debut at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre last week (30 June – 1 July), showcasing a range of transport industry innovations. Quartix was proud to facilitate the event’s BusHub – a live display of the venue shuttle bus journeys powered by the Quartix real-time vehicle tracking system.

Quartix on track for its 2020 financial expectations
Quartix is pleased to report positive H1 results and that the business is on track to meet its 2020 financial expectations overall. Prior to the challenges that the national lockdowns have presented, the company’s new vehicle subscriptions for January and February were 30% ahead of 2019.
University of Birmingham achieves 40% alternative fuelled vehicles
